  1. If that ever made it to the moon, the astronauts would exit doing the drunken walk like kids do when twirled in a circle!!

Oh, and DON’T tell me it would never make it out of Earth’s atmosphere … didn’t you ever watch Bugs Bunny? Bwwwaaaahahahahahaha

  2. Clausia,

So Marvin Martian. He looked nothing like the “instant Martians”. Was he an early trans-species individual?

    What? No Earth shattering ka-boom?

  3. when I was a kid we would always end up breaking/wearing out our cap guns, but would have already bought tons of caps in bulk. We had a blast rolling them out on the curb and detonating them with a hammer. Probably more fun, but you couldn’t pretend you were actually aiming to shoot anyone.

  4. Does anybody remember “Red Rats”?
They were a bottle rocket without a stick.
What could possibly go wrong with that?
Getting chased by what you just lit.

  5. Wild Bill, I may have to get one of those cap guns for my grandson when he gets to be a little older. Why the hell not, Holden and my son would love it. and if my 2nd granddaughter who has a great chance to be a tomboy like her grandmother would love it too.

  6. @Wild Bill ~ had one of those pop guns when I was a kid back in the ’60’s
it was metal & came w/ percussion-cap type caps that you mounted in the cylinder like the old percussion cap revolvers … had a louder sound than a cap (& without the red thingy on it … which made it look & sound quite a bit realistic)

  7. I had a couple of those plastic string cap guns. A Walther PPK. You put the caps in the magazine and when you pulled the trigger the firing mechanism fired the cap and a razor blade cut and launched the previously fired cap. I also had a Mauser C96. The caps fed in the butt of that one, but the magazine held all the spare strings. And the hammer actually worked like a hammer.
