Of course they are actually work boots, lace once and then zip for speed donning, slip resistent, water resistant, fire resistant, biohazard resistant, strategically ventilated, quick drying, resistent to heating in direct sunlight, good arch support in a replacable insole, steel toed and steel shanked with a list of OSHA and Canadian regulatory hurdles met so long that it goes all the way from the boot top to the sole inside just to cover them all, and they’ve lasted at least twice as long as steel toed boots I have purchased from Shoe Carnival for half the price, so sometimes you NEED special application footwear and it’s well worth the money to not have to buy them over and over again…
