Heads of state around the world, from countries both friendly and adversarial to the United States, sent their congratulations to President Donald Trump on the occasion of his return to the White House on Monday, wishing him well during his second term in office.
Trump was inaugurated into office alongside Vice President JD Vance on Monday morning. He delivered an inauguration address that touched on several major international issues, including the drug cartels ravaging Mexico along the border with the United States and the national security threat of Chinese influence in Latin America.
Trump also broke with historical precedent in being the first to welcome foreign heads of state to his inauguration, traditionally an event attended by ambassadors. Among those in attendance on Monday were Argentine President Javier Milei, Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa, Paraguayan President Santiago Peña, and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Meloni published a photo on social media on Monday alongside President Trump sending him “best wishes” and expressing hope for their bilateral cooperation. more
The whole world knows that Jackass Joe and his Commie Cohorts made complete asses of themselves for four years. Now that we have a real leader the biggest impact will be on the Bought & Paid For, Knee-Pad Media!
Who’s gonna pay ’em now?
I don’t know and I don’t care. Let these Liars and propaganda pushers wither up and die!
Make peace while you can.
It pays to get a long with the boss.
But we’ve been told for four years that the world was much happier with Biden in the White House!
Yes, because they felt comfortable walking all over us. In reality, they feel much better with a leader in in the White House.
Not my words, but I’ll share them nonetheless;
The Latin phrase Si vis pacem, para bellum—“If you want peace, prepare for war”—has shaped the military and diplomatic strategies of empires and nations for centuries.
Originating in Roman times, this principle stresses that peace is not the default state of human affairs but a condition that must be preserved through vigilance and strength. Today, as the United States navigates an increasingly complex global landscape, this doctrine remains critical for maintaining stability and safeguarding national interests.
I thought that meant “If you want peace, stock up on 9mm”.
@Camaro
I really liked your post. I read a lot of Roman History, but I’m no expert and I know only a few Latin words. Hats off to ya!

There are somethings that are timeless. “Si vis pacem, para bellum” is timeless. Human nature never changes. Great post.
