Many of the US Military departments are missing those objectives by significant percentages. More alarming than any other factor, however, was the unwillingness of family members who had served (or were serving) to recommend a tour of duty or a career as a member of the US military. I understand the concept behind this, it’s good if we no longer have a DEI military.
However, I would rather the military be refined down to a lean means of defense. Hopefully the new administration has that in mind.
