Freshman Sen. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., will deliver Democrats’ response to President Donald Trump’s joint address to Congress on Tuesday.
The opposing party typically selects an up-and-coming politician to rebut high-profile presidential speeches before Congress. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., announced the decision Thursday, with Schumer saying in a statement that Slotkin was “nothing short of a rising star in our party.”

I heard about that earlier today and just rolled my eyes. She was hand picked by Debbie Stabenow. Slotkin is useless (seriously!!!) and I hope you watch her rebuttal and feel REALLY sorry for us who live in Michigan!
BTW, she has been compared with that girl in Willy Wonka (Violet) who chewed gum and when it came to blueberry pie, she blew up to look like a blueberry.
BTW 2, the republican running for that seat won. The day after the election, they “found” 19,006 ballots just for Slotkin.

If the Dems could find a single person who could do anything more than read a scripted message, that would be their 2028 presidential candidate. But they don’t have a single one. Meanwhile, I can think of dozens of Republicans whom I might not want to be our next president, but who can stand up to any leftist interrogation and give it right back. They have absolutely nobody. Of course it is quite possible that it’s because anyone with any sense doesn’t belong to their party.

We have got so many sad people in this country who are losing their jobs every day. A friend of mine, an IT expert recently lost his job with the Federal Government. The poor man was earning $450,000 per year, worked there for 35 years, and now he gets zero. The Musk DOGE people claimed he never did any work. Trump and Musk are heartless beasts and Nazis too.
