Federal immigration authorities took several people into custody in Duluth Thursday morning, CBS affiliate KBJR reports.
A witness said the people arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement were working on a roofing project in the Lakeside neighborhood at the time.
ICE declined to provide information to WCCO, saying, “Due to our operational tempo and the increased interest in our agency, we are not able to research and respond to specifics of routine daily operations for ICE.” More
Both the mayor and chief of police were quick to state they had no involvement in enforcing federal immigration law. Here

Sounds like Florida’s Sgt. John Mina. After “handling” the Pulse investigation poorly years ago, he now decides he’s not arresting illegals so his governor can suck eggs. I guess. So much for DeSantis being on board with the POTUS’s agenda…sore loser.
Nope, I’ve always said the problem with neighbors… Is neighbors.
I make it a point not to.
Reads as if ICE should’ve picked up a couple more while in town.
