The poll is final, after nearly 34,000 votes. 80% of voters in a poll question asked by Historic Downtown Lexington Virginia if Stephanie Wilkinson should be fired from being director of Main Street Lexington. I have zero sympathy for the town of Lexington or the state of Virginia. Lexington voted 60%+ for Hillary Clinton in 2016 and Virginia is becoming a mini East Coast version of California. Lexington deserves New York scum like Stephanie Wilkinson.

Regardless, for a liberal town, this poll is damning. People think of Lexington, Virginia as a punchline for a joke now.

    Lexington voted 60% Hillary? Then the only reason I can see that the town is mad at her is that she let the cat out of the bag about the dislike of conservatives and anyone who doesn’t go along with them in lockstep and it’s affecting the profits.

He eventually had a big change of heart and became good friends for many years with his black nemesis Hosea Williams. When he died, This was the headline the NYT chose to print:

    “Lester Maddox, Whites-Only Restaurateur and Georgia Governor, Dies at 87”

    Look how the restaurant stuck in the craw of the NYT, even after forty years. Whats going to be in your obituary, Stephanie? Because The Little Red Hen is starting to look like The Pickrick , and you’ll never be Governor.

  18. I remember when almost every business had signs posted reserving the right to refuse service to anyone. Being perceived as a long haired, damn dirty biker outlaw commie…..that policy was often invoked on me in those days and I respected it. I always felt and still do, that if they don’t want my money I don’t want them to have it.
    Seems like Sanders feels the same. As I recall, it’s the left that forced those service signs down, funny how certain bigotry is o.k. with them. I despise hypocrisy and that is a prime guiding principle of the so called tolerant liberal.
