Seems to me they picked the most progressive areas. I find progressives to be over-educated morons, actually.

I think it would be more interesting to see what cities had the most MA, MS and PhD degree holders working as barista’s.
I did quite a few carpentry jobs in Downtown Ann Arbor.
Apparently though only surveyed on the U of M campus because everyone outside were idiots.
^^^they, not though. I miss edit. I’ll have to learn proofreading.
Change “educated” to “indoctrinated” and you have a winner!
mortem tyrannis
izlamo delenda est …
Having lived in the DC area my entire life I agree with BFH. I am surrounded by highly educated morons.
Change “Educated” to “Indoctrinated”, and the lists are pretty accurate.
Many in the higher echelon are college towns, you don’t want to live in a college town.
While in LA I used to live next to UCLA. College kids are not only aggrieved about everything, they are lazy. So when they want to protest, they do it close to campus. Ruining your meal at a restaurant, closing down a freeway, or marching down the street where you live, never any fun. Avoid these cities.
Some of the smartest people I’ve met are deep in Appalachia and never finished high school.
Dang, Tim – FJB, I should read comments before posting lol
Now do cities
with the most
common sense.
Who was it that said?
Americans have confused:
Civilization with Indoor Plumbing
Education with Intelligence
Sex with Love
Raised in A2. Now live in MS. Even Oxford home of Ole Miss didn’t make the list.
Repeat the study, but take off points for non-STEM degrees.
Go to Austin and ask 100 random people to define a woman, and ask them if a man can get pregnant. Then ask 100 random people in Ft. Worth the same questions. I’ll wait, let me know where the most intelligent people are.
@ecp
The smartest person I’ve met is a dumb acting Alabama dude. He finished HS at 16, did 2 years worth of community college in a year and then joined the Army. He got his EE during his enlistment in the Army. At 24 he became an Army contractor making 6 figures for 16 years that now has 2 Marco’s pizza franchises where he sits at his lake house paying quarterly taxes on the profits on the pizza places are knocking down.
Durham – Chapel Hill and Raleigh – Cary are all the same place, basically. Better known locally as “Raleigh-Durham”.

Check this link to compare how the lowest ranked are among the “best educated.”
This defines the average Seattle/Tacoma indoctrinated fool with an advanced degree. The absolute worst are the Doctors, Lawyers and Indian Cheifs’ wives who went to college to marry the former. Got a degree and sit around all day long convincing themselves that indeed they are qualified to “Save the World.” Absolutely insufferable bores, and they vote in the morons in charge here.
Tacoma/Seattle among the most “highly educated,” Tacoma among the worst managed cities in the US and getting “progressively” worse with each and every election.
I can handle things! I’m smart! Not like everybody says… like dumb… I’m smart and I want respect!
What about Huntsville Ala. You know where all the rocket scientists live and work.
“San Francisco-Oakland-Berkeley, California, 80.77”
Sorry, I can’t equate living in a place where you have to pay exorbitant amounts of money just to live there, dodge hoodlums, panhandlers, filth & piles of shit everywhere, with possessing a “Higher Education”.
Unless that means something other than what I thought it meant.
beaumont tx elected the useless sphincter-of-the-house, phelan – no surprise
Willing to bet the most educated are also the most to suffer and die from the suicide jab.
@ChristianPDX – how many of those overeducated baristas know that you don’t pluralize baristas with an apostrophe aka the possessive tense?
Sorry – it’s a pet peeve and I know that autocorrect is BS and adds the apostrophe seemingly every time a word ends in S. AUTOWRONG – let’s get the dummies at autocorrect to fix this. Grrrrr
The least educated cities in CA are farming centers and full of illegals working as farm labor.
