  1. Here is the problem with pulling your gun. The cops don’t know
Who the shooter is. I would take cover. If the shooter comes my way
I’ll shoot him. But. How do you know it’s the shooter. It might be a CCW
Guy trying to help. So I would wait to see who shoots who.
You aim at me I’ll drop your ass. But. I won’t shoot unless I’m damn sure who is the shooter and who isn’t. Remember when the cops come put you weapon away or lay it down. Don’t come out of hiding towards the cops with a gun.

  2. I think if you are a CCW you should already know what to do. No one should carry without the knowledge of their ability and responsibility. Training and practice are essential to the carry. This video only gives comfort to those who either live in fear or fog. The fire extinguishers so commonly shown in these videos are not easy to heft or handle as a weapon, an old Louisville slugger at the desk would be far more effective.

Thirty seconds more of generic instruction to a CCW holder achieves nothing. I have the knowledge and ability to instruct those around me per parts one and two and if it comes to it use my weapon effectively in a fight situation as shown for part three. My husband on the other hand has the military and professional training to take it a step further if needed to protect those who may not have the ability or sense to run and hide.

  3. I don’t believe I would attend a college these days that did not allow me to conceal carry. If I am in the presence of someone randomly shooting people, you bet your ass I’l pulling my weapon. If I’m within earshot, that’s another story-I’m not running and I’m not hiding but I’d be reluctant to seek out the shooter-if he came my way, then that’s different.
