  1. I value my neck a lot more than three thousand bucks, chief. I’ll find him for three, but I’ll catch him, and kill him, for ten. But you’ve gotta make up your minds. If you want to stay alive, then ante up. If you want to play it cheap, be on welfare the whole winter. I don’t want no volunteers, I don’t want no mates, there’s just too many captains on this island. $10,000 for me by myself. For that you get the head, the tail, the whole damn thing.

  2. Shazzam
My Glock doesn’t jam either. And one in the chamber makes 16. And less than one second mag change. I love wheel guns. But they’ll get you killed in a gunfight these days. But hey, carry what you want.

  3. One more question, a buddy of mine is trying to tell how me smart he is for buying “The Judge” , a 45/410 pistol. I see value in the concept but is it worth considering for in home self defense? I s’pose anything is better than nothing.

  4. Joe, my opinion is The Judge is a great fire arm for a woman or a even a man that is not familiar with a firearm. I can’t remember 6 or 5 shots. Some gun battles last longer than that. Again, just my opinion, Id rather put in the work and have the extra mag capacity. The Work: 15% range Time, 85% Dry fire Practice. Dry fire practice 30 minutes a night. Every night.

  5. Brad,
    How about a 5.7×28?
I sure have fun with that because of the low recoil and 20 round mag. Velocity is great but does it have any real stopping power?
Have a 29 in 41 Remington NIB, I keep thinking I should fire it but it’s so beautiful I can’t do it.

If I could only have 1 gun for survival I think I would grab my Ruger 77-22 stainless. Easy to pack a lot of ammo and will kill enough to eat

  6. So they bring in a bunch of RAPISTS, and the government’s only response is silly rape-prevention videos……for the VICTIMS.

Uh, preaching to the choir here dummies!

  7. Coupla friends with Judges, they use the Judge .410 defensive loads in them. Winchester PDX410 rounds.

I’m handy with my 1911. My Glock 43 is for hot weather CCW. You can hide that phokker anywhere.

  8. I remember the days when people liked to shout about how things like this were nothing more or less than “making the victim responsible for preventing rape.”

In the hierarchy of victimhood, even feminists themselves matter less than criminal invaders.

  9. Can’t go wrong with the upgraded colt 1911. .45 my favorite pistol round. Wide cross section=stopping power. Take a hit from one and its game over. Judge holds 5 rounds btw.

  10. Thanks Brad, it’s an FNH.
My thoughts as well on ammo thought I had close to 1k before the best ammo salesman in the history of mankind came to office 9 years ago.
I like it because 4-20’s don’t weigh that much so it’s in the go bag.

  11. Now that the thread has been hy-jacked… Let me give you something “completely different.”

Tanfoglio (CZ clone) in 41AE/9mm (eleven rounds / seventeen rounds) and Chief’s Special in 38 (five rounds) for back up. Some years ago a wise man instructed me in the idea that one gun is none and two is one and so on. Try to never carry only one.

And as with the 357 Mag and plinking with the 38 and mag for when you’re serious, the 9mm for plinking and drop in the 41AE for when you’re serious. Only down side is ammo which I have a proper supply, but most would play hell getting it these days even to start reloading.

  12. O.k., there are too many people on this thread discussing defensive firearms. Didn’t you watch the video? Just hold up one hand, or two hands for really aggressive rapists, and yell “no.” Be sure to put on your “mean face” as well. In my opinion, hitting with a purse is just silly unless you are carrying bricks in the thing and probably unnecessary.

You may also want to make sure your health or life insurance premiums are paid up. When taking safety tips from television people who are undoubtably protected by bodyguards, this is usually the best advice.
