The U.S. military is hosting a drag show at a family-friendly festival at Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE) at the end of July.
JBLE is hosting its first ever “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Summer Festival” on July 30, featuring a series of performances and speeches, including a poem on “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” and a drag show by Joshua Kelley, who performs under the moniker Harpy Daniels.
The festival was first proposed by the JBLE Breaking Barriers Alliance, a committee comprised of volunteer service members under the base’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion. At least one top base official, Colonel Gregory Beaulieu, the installation commander, signed off on the event and approved the use of military resources, a JBLE spokesman told The Daily Wire.

I am not ashamed for my service in the Navy 50 years ago from Aug. 31, 1972 to Aug. 18. 1975. What I am ashamed for is what the Navy and the other branches of the military have become over the past few years and especially with bidumb as commander in chief for the past year and a half. There is no way now if I were 19 again that I would voluntarily serve in the military under bidumb, draft or no draft. If I served now, I would be constantly on report or kicked out of the Navy for not putting up with all of their politically correct bullshit in the name of fairness and equity. I hate the left and their attempt to destroy military morale thru all of this PC bullshit. You can call me an old honorably discharged pissed off veteran because that’s what I’ve become because of these assholes. FJB/LGB!
I went through Air Force basic training in November 1973. Everyone who was even suspected of being a faggot was immediately removed to a special barracks to await administrative separation from the Air Force. We weren’t the Navy after all!

My dad and father-in-law were Air Force veterans, 2 of my dad’s older brothers were WW 2 Navy veterans, his next older brother was an Army paratrooper who did occupation duty in Japan after the war. My mom’s older brother was a Marine who saw duty in the S. Pacific. 2 of my brother-in-laws were an AF veteran of nearly 20 years, the other an Army doc trained by the Army as a trauma surgeon, of 4 of my nephews, 3 were Marines and my oldest nephew was a Lt. JG in the Navy. One of my cousins received a Silver Star in the Army during the Vietnam War in the late 60’s. And I have relatives on both sides who served and fought in the Civil War and a distant young relative who was at Lexington at the beginning of the American Revolution. All of us who ever served in whatever branch of the military are all part of one another as veterans even though we may have served in different branches of the service are for the most part proud of what we did when we were younger. Which is why we are all pissed off at what bidumb and the democraps have done to our military.

My dad was a US Marine who worked on F4U Corsairs on Midway Island with VMF322. My brother was in the US Army and worked on Nike missiles in South Korea. I was Air Force and served with SAC. I had two sons in the US Navy but they saw the writing on the wall when Obama arrived and left. My brother-in-law was in the Coast Guard (but we try not to bring that up).
