And now, I have Fungophobia

SG: If you saw a strange gooey ball of something super weird looking in your backyard, you’d likely be more than a little concerned about whatever it is. One woman happened to be outside when she noticed an egg-like sac of slime in the grass and upon closer inspection she saw it move! Naturally, curiosity set in so she grabbed her camera to record the oddity and to see what happened.

  1. It’s more than likely from The Hitchhikers’s Guide To The Galaxy by Douglas Adams, if I remember right. That thing reminds me why I hate mushrooms. I always told my kids that cream of mushroom soup was actually cream of slug soup. I probably wouldn’t fit well in Minnesota because of that blasphemy against cream of mushroom soup.

  2. Maybe this link is better to get it.

“In the radio series and the first novel, a group of hyper-intelligent pan-dimensional beings demand to learn the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe, and Everything from the supercomputer, Deep Thought, specially built for this purpose. It takes Deep Thought 7½ million years to compute and check the answer, which turns out to be 42.”

  3. Dadof4….Nah, I got your reference, but I still don’t know what 42 means….baseball is life explained and life is baseball explained….42 was Jackie Robinson’s number, and many others………The lesson for me was, don’t swing when you have the odds on your side, just ride it out….
