Wow!
I bet he drinks Dos Equis….
“I don’t always eat kibble…oh wait…yes i do.
I like Odin! He has swagger. Good job capturing him BFH.
Great!!!

You captured a persona in that portrait. Love it.
I’ve been wanting to do a scratch board of our SiL and Daughter’s dog. Am seriously thinking of having you do a portrait Fur. That is acrylic isn’t it?
p.s. By the look in his eyes, I’m thinking Odin is about 70 in people years. Looks like he could be a grumpy old man. π
I wouldnβt want to run into him in a dark alley. Haha.
Nicely done, Fur.
Like a boss
This is my favorite of all your pet portraits, BFH, and that’s saying a LOT!
My first reaction was that you anthropomorphized him a bit, but when I went back and looked at the original photo I changed my mind. Odin is just a bit anthropomorphized all by his own self.
that’s awesome fur do you ever make reprints or copies?
Love it!
Nice take on the eyes!!! πππ
I LOVE HIS LIITLE FACE!!! Such attitude.
Odin was my niece’s dog. Unfortunately, he passed from this life in early December due to kidney failure. Thanks to BFH for getting this portrait done quickly for my niece Lauren before Christmas!!
See, Steve just outed me as to how far backlogged I am getting the completed portraits up on the site.
I have 3 more completed that haven’t gotten a showcase, but I don’t want to bore anyone.
So I space them out.
Oh, Steve! Odin was such a charmer. He tried to pass himself off as a grumpy old man, but I bet he loved belly rubs!
Fur, I thought the same as Uncle Al, then went back to the original picture and, by golly, he did look like that! Great likeness. You sure capture them perfectly.
I am waiting impatiently to get into my new house. Hope to find the perfect one sometime this spring. I need a house to hang my portraits of Zoe, Ivan and Asher!
Needless to say, BFH captured the moment.
I’m jealous.

Who’s got your belly
Bubbles is about cats, but this tune works for dogs too (and spouse?) π
What a great piece of art, for a great dog!
Arf! Art!
Outstanding. All he needs is a cigar
That is a great portrait. What a face!
