Well, I remember growing up we’d be told by the teachers to think “What would Jesus do?” before reacting to a provocation. I guess we know now, Jesus would commit felony battery on a woman and show no remorse and probably end up doing time.
Seriously, this guy needs to be suspended from teaching while a full psychiatric evaluation is done on him. It isn’t as if he uttered this threat in the moment of a heated exchange. He had to sit down, log in and think about what he was going to say that would be seen by all his supporters including some that may have taken his words to heart. In addition there should be a vote of censure in the state legislature against him and he should be made to take anger management courses. He then tried to cover up what he did by deleting the offending threats. I mean, that’s what would have happened to a white male who threatened a state legislator with grave bodily harm, wouldn’t it?
I’ve said it elsewhere, the Republican should call him out and watch his bravado evaporate, and if she is married, then her husband should publicly declare if he so much as sneezes in her direction his life is forfeit.
