Zero Hedge: Los Angeles Police Department Chief Jim McDonnell said this week that an arson suspect who was arrested Tuesday in Pacoima told police he had started small fires because he “liked the smell of burning leaves.”
Police detained a suspect around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday after a citizen extinguished a fire and held him near Glenoaks and Van Nuys boulevards, according to ABC7.
The man, whose name was not released, was booked on suspicion of arson. Later, around 9:30 p.m., firefighters responded to reports of multiple trash fires near Vermont Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard in East Hollywood.
“The suspect admitted to setting multiple fires that day and stated that she enjoyed causing chaos and destruction,” McDonnell said. more here
SNIP: Is it a he or a she?
“…liked the smell of burning leaves…”
I’d wonder if I could grow to like the smell of burning arsonists.
Wait…… so its not climate change that started the fires? I had visions of a Ready Kilowatt shaped fire monster torching everything it came in contact with. Only to find out that it was human type being. Well shit.
Pretty crummy report, must not want to disclose nationality, race or homelessness
I’m thinking the smell burning arms and legs would appeal to him as well.
BULLET..HEAD..DONE
Benito, after he appreciated the smell of his arm and legs burning. Then just graze him. He deserves to suffer greatly!
An example clearly needs to be established. Punishment by the judicial system won’t do the trick. Plus I expect a few more. They need to be hung on the perimeter of the burned area by the feet 2 feet off the ground. Then lite a fire directly beneath their heads. Our native American Injun friends can point us in the right direction. How many of these assholes will end up being illegal.
People used to have burn barrels in the backyard and burned leaves in the autumn. When I smell burning leaves now I’m instantly transported back to another time.
He has a lot in common with Gwen Walz.
There are burned out cars with the engines mostly missing. What kind of fire does that? Hint: It’s not a homeless guy with a gas can and a box of matches.
These stories about arsonists are distractions. The arsonists are in the air.
Apocalypse LA.
Y’all know what movie quote I’m thinking of.
