Republican Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey responded after a secular organization demanded he delete an Easter message he posted on Facebook, citing a breach in the separation of church and state.
“We won’t be removing this post. Ever,” Ducey tweeted Thursday. “Nor will we be removing our posts for Christmas, Hanukkah, Rosh Hashanah, Palm Sunday, Passover or any other religious holiday.” More
Thanks for Standing Gov. Ducey.
The First Amendment allows for freedom of religion not freedom from religion. Freedom of religion means what it says that I’m free to worship God in anyway I please and not to have to worship whoever the state deems to be a god. That way lies tyranny every time.
Proud to live in AZ.
