A federal judge on Thursday ordered former White House adviser Steve Bannon to report to prison by July 1 after an appeals court upheld his conviction.
Bannon, who briefly served in Donald Trump’s White House, was found guilty in July 2022 on two counts of contempt of Congress for failing to testify and provide documents to the now-disbanded House Jan. 6 subcommittee.
He was sentenced to serve four months behind bars in October that same year, but he has been able to avoid prison time as he pursued his appeal.
U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols revoked the pause in Bannon’s sentence after a three-judge D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals panel last month rejected his appeal.
Nichols on Thursday said, after the appeals court’s decision, he did not believe the basis for continuing to hold off Bannon’s sentence “exists any longer.” More

He should base his appeal on grounds of sanity. Any sane person has to have the highest degree of contempt for congress these days. Utter contempt of congress is the only rational reaction available considering the clown show that the US congress is.
If there were any modicum of equal justice under US law anymore, Merrick Garland and Eric Holder would have been sentenced to jail for contempt of congress as well.

The same communist asswipe who sentenced Bannon will do the same to President Trump next month. Those legal “experts” who think he’ll get probation as a first time offender or home confinement hasn’t been paying attention. Juan Merchan is working for the democrat party and doesn’t care if his verdicts are overturned. He fancies himself along side Woodward and Bernstein as having “got” a republican president. He’ll be rewarded handsomely.

You can judge the effectiveness of an opponent by the sentence to jail they receive from the system. Bannon has been a thorn in their side and they’re hoping by silencing him the movement falters before the election.

The question is, would the deep state/shadow Government risk killing a bunch of us to avoid prosecution from a Trump administration. You bet your ass they would. When you link some of the current headlines together it doesn’t look good. And the shadow Government will be in bunkers when it kicks off.
