6. I WAS A UCLA BRUIN FOOTBALL FAN GROWING UP, WENT TO A LOT OF THEIR GAMES WHEN THEY PLAYED AT THE LA COLISEUM. AFTER GAMES, THE WATTS “HOOD” WOULD BREAK IN AND SWARM THE FIELD. I WAS WITH A FRIEND ONE GAME AND WE DECIDED TO GET DOWN TO THE FIELD AND FOLLOW THE BRUINS THRU THE TUNNEL. I WAS TACKLED BY SOME WILD-AFRO’D BLACKS AND POUNDED A BIT IN THE PILE..FOR BEING WHITE. I HAD A BAD TEMPER AND WANTED TO FIGHT THESE ASSHOLES, AND MY GOOD FRIEND HAD THE PRESENCE OF MIND TO PULL ME OUT. THE ANIMALS WERE GATHERING AND THEY WANTED TO KILL ME. IT WAS A GREAT EARLY IMPRESSION.
