Berkeley assault victim makes major announcement as questions on investigation swirl

CR: California-based attorney Harmeet Dhillon has agreed to provide legal representation for Hayden Williams against the man who assaulted him on the campus of the University of California-Berkeley on February 19.

“I have retained an attorney and I will follow her counsel on next steps,” Williams recently told Campus Reform in an exclusive statementWilliams confirmed that Dhillon is, in fact, providing him with legal representation in the case.

Leadership Institute Vice President of Campus Programs Bryan Bernys also reacted to the news by issuing the following statement:

Hayden has retained an attorney and we stand with him as he pursues legal action against his attacker. Holding this attacker accountable by pursing legal action is a step toward protecting free speech for conservatives on college campuses across the country. Conservatives have a right to free speech and shouldn’t be attacked for it – on or off college campuses.  more here

  1. That would be a civil suite. What make him, or his attorney, think this ass bite has any money? I guess they could win a judgment and bleed him for a while. Sounds like he’s going to the big house anyway. Dear Hayden Williams, learn how to fight. I grow weary of Conservatives getting their asses handed to them by pussies.

  2. She has potential. Be sure to post the video when you get it. I’ll look too, but I’m not on all the social media sites. “Civil Rights Attorney”, yup, red flags. Requires a video.

  3. There needs to be a reward set up for information leading to the perp’s arrest or at least his identification. $1,000, $3,000? Nothing says, “Forget you, dude. Baby needs a new pair of Nikes – I’m snitchin’ like a fist full of cash.

  4. This is an open and shut civil rights violation. There’s a track record in CA of deliberate non enforcement, and UC and local gov should be made to pay their balls off. This is America, right? I wouldn’t stand for this being done to some Democrat, either. Sue their balls off, Sir.
