I had an e-mail from Vimeo today on their selections for best works of 2017. Towards the end of the offerings was this gem from Russia. The band’s name is Leningrad and the song is called Kolshik. I’ll not spoil the experience, but just warn that there is sex, gore, violence and a song in Russian. It had me watching it again and again to catch all the details. Watch (NSFW). Not to diminish this well executed artsy video I thoroughly enjoyed. But! A similar concept had already been done in a trailer for an 8 year old video game.
