Biden Forms Court Packing Commission

Christian Post

President Biden has created a 180-day commission to consider adding seats to the U.S. Supreme Court or setting term limits for justices, a move that some have warned could lead to “irreversible damage.”

“The president acted under pressure from activists pushing for more seats to alter the ideological balance of the court after President Donald J. Trump appointed three justices, including one to a seat that Republicans had blocked his predecessor, Barack Obama, from filling for almost a year,” The New York Times reported.

  1. “ We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution is designed only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for any other.” – John Adams

  2. Since the Supreme Court is the highest legislative body in the United States, perhaps we should increasing the number of Justices to 50 and having one appointed from each State so they all States have equal representation in government?

  3. Nohhh, really? You don’t say. Sure didn’t see this one coming. Whaddya suppose the finding of this commission will be? Go ahead, go out on a limb and take a(n educated) guess.

  4. Adding seats is one thing, but can they make such a change as term limits? That seems like something that either the court would have a say in or would need a Constitutional Amendment. The number of Justices is tradition rather than set in stone, but changing life-long appointments to set terms sounds like something that isn’t’t a slam dunk. And who would have the final say when that gets challenged? Or would the Dems say that shouldn’t have a say in the matter because they have a conflict of interest.

Meanwhile “leading from behind (the imbecile)” in the smoke-screen of Political Correctness (where no one dares to say the truth) is the extreme radical Left-wing, anti-capitalist, anti-establishment, America-Hating, Benghazi-bullshitting, imperious, phoney-baloney, plastic-banana republic, Marxist Muzlim Mallard ridin Biden, the demented Trojan Horse of the 21st Century!
