HOUSTON — Joe Biden promised to disclose his medical history before Democratic primary voters gather for the Iowa caucuses next February.
“Before there’s a first vote, I’ll release my medical records. There is no reason for me not to release my medical records,” the former vice president told reporters on Friday at Texas Southern University in Houston.
“What are the concerns? Man, want to wrestle?” he joked with the press, downplaying questions about his health.
Biden, 76, hasn’t disclosed his medical history since 2008, when doctors found he had an irregular heartbeat.
In 1988, he suffered an aneurysm that burst and required him to undergo emergency surgery. Months later, surgeons addressed a second aneurysm before it burst. He suffers from asthma and allergies, takes a prescription drug to lower his cholesterol, and has taken medication for an enlarged prostate. Doctors also removed a benign polyp during a colonoscopy in 1996, and in 2003, he had his gallbladder removed. read more
Since the polyp was benign, I guess he is not a malignant asshole.
And since his gallbladder has been removed that makes him the least galling of the possible candidates.
But with his memory issues, my bet is that He’ll forget to release the records.
Just sayin’.
It’s his political record that gives me concern.

Medical records that indicate a functional brain aren’t as helpful as he thinks they are.

There comes a time, when we need to be honest and accept that the hands on the clock do the damage. 4 to 8 years is really pushing his chances of failings. At 71 I know full well that my mind is not what it once was. He needs to be fair to himself and voters and bow out. Be sure he won’t be running the show, and someone behind the curtains will be doing it for him. The DNC doesn’t care they just seek the power and control at any price to the voters.
It will take that long to white wash them.
