Black Woman Says She’s “Sick of it” When She’s Pulled Over For an Ordinary Traffic Stop

A black woman rabble-roused her Facebook followers after being pulled over by a police office in Virginia for going 70mph in a 55mph zone. She claims the cop was racist, she was in fear of her life (because where she was pulled over is where “lynchings” took place) and he bullied her.

She made the video immediately after the stop, so the events should have been fresh in her mind.

She says the cop threatened to “pull her out of her car.”

Not quite.

After he issued her the ticket she was surprised that it wasn’t a warning. (She was very polite, and handled the stop very well. So did the police officer.)

He said, “no warnings today, ” and then explained the process going forward. She could prepay the ticket online before her court date and wouldn’t be required to appear. If she didn’t do that she would have to appear in court.

He handed her a document to sign. She refused to sign it. He explained that it wasn’t an admission of guilt, it was an acknowledgement of receiving the ticket and a promise to follow up in some way.

She again refused. He then explained what would happen next.

“If you refuse to sign I’m going to have to get you outside of the car, I’m going to have to place you under arrest, and your car will be impounded.”

This is an explanation of what has to happen if a driver is belligerent and refuses to sign the ticket. It is not a threat, it’s a description of what will happen if you choose to go that route.

The Facebook video illustrates why so many black people claim cops are racist. Their perception is that what is happening to them is exclusive to them, that white people do not receive the exact same treatment every day.

Her video and the body cam video can be seen HERE.

If this is racism, racism isn’t all that bad.

HERE IS HER PROFILE. She tried to ruin the career of a police officer. Keep that in mind.

  1. Hey lady, I got pulled over for going 30 in a 20. I’m white American. Those dang school zones got me twice. No kids present either time.

I paid the town’s extortion fee plus took a class to keep from getting points taken off my license.

  2. Like I said, they want their own set of rules and resent and harbor utter contempt for authority. Now days many cops are so reluctant to apply the same rules to blacks because it will only create this kind of crap which in turn brings more of the behavior.

  3. You guys dont get it. Shes right. White people never get pulled over and get tickets from Cops, they only do it to blacks.

Thats why you will never see a white person stopped at a red light. You will always see white people doing 100 mph on the parkways. They dont get pulled over so they do not have to obey traffic laws.

As proof of this, ask yourself and any black person how often do you see a white person stop at a red light? The answer is self explanatory.

  4. When you start with the premise the law doesn’t apply to you because of skin color, it’s downhill from there. Affirmative action via the Civil Rights Act was a major mistake, rendering them unaccountable to the same standards as the rest of society. Their initial response to LE or any authority is, “my blackness supersedes” your oppression, therefore I don’t have to abide by your racist rules.

Required body cameras, via Holder’s DOJ Civil Rights Division was the best thing to happen to LEOs. Of course the impetus was to rein in and punish racists cops. In actuality, they’ve saved cops lives. Literally.

  5. Thank you for the Sowell quote, Page O Turner!

As I was reading the post, I was thinking to myself that women like that do not want to be treated the same as others, they want to be treated as if they are special and the rules of a civil society do not apply to them. And I should have known there was a Sowell quote for that.

  6. Many willingly self-describe themselves as divas.
Diva is not a compliment nor something to aspire to be.
Diva is a polite way of saying bitch.
I am 100% sure Dawn is a diva.

  7. Well, I got pulled over for doing 70 in a 55 zone some years ago, and I think that was racist too. The cop (MD State Trooper) was white, polite, and gave me a ticket, anyway. I was (still am) white, polite, and signed the ticket.

But I can’t help but FEEL that there was some sort of crypto-racism involved.
I FELT that (with both of us being white) he shoulda given me some taxpayer money, instead of ME having to PAY!

    It’s just so unfair!
    (sob, boo-hoo, **, snort)

  8. My husband saw a Diva demanding to go through the quick check line at the airport the other day when she had not been pre-approved. TSA wasn’t amused and it didn’t go well for her. I suppose she’ll post on Facebook that it was racist and she was abused. My husband, however, was highly amused.

  9. “This is where we got lynched . . .” What do you mean “we” kemosabe? You? Clearly not. Your husband? Your child? Your mother or father? How far back are you going to claim “we”?

  10. There is a compelex relationship between the pressure on the gas pedal and the speed of the vehicle. The stronger the pressure on the gas pedal, results more visits from law-enforcement officials.
On the other hand, the less pressure on the gas pedal results in fewer visits from law enforcement officials.

  11. It’s all about the attention for this one. She has a career, if you could it that, doing something not many are interested in. This is her ‘look at me’ moment. She has done nothing of merit so tries to claim attention by making herself a victim.

  12. In 1980, I was confronted by 2 armed thugs that waited to ambush me and my wife(coincidentially we are white) when returning to a dark parking lot from a restaurant. After getting my wallet, her purse, and the keys to my Corvette, one of the thugs moved closer to me with his handgun pointed at my head while the other one said “hurry up, do em “. Just at that moment a siren went blaring with blue lights flashing from a police car that had entered the far end of the parking lot. Thank God the police office saw what was going down and roared his car towards us. He likely saved my life. Officer Davis (coincidentially a black man) will always be my hero. ps. the 2 thugs were chased down and caught(they coincidentially were also black)
