From now on when the RNC calls me asking for money and my vote I will only agree to it if someone comes out to mow my lawn.
Popeye was always one of my favorites. But when I saw that as a kid, I never thought elections would become a thousand times more corrupt than that.
Now we see how Caster Oyl (Olive’s fat, uglier, foul-mouthed, Mao-suit wearing, sister) could wring out all that money from foreign countries as the presumptive next President!
The original EC Segar Popeye comic strip from the 1930’s was one of the best comic strips ever. The cartoons for the most part were 2nd rate except for ones I still remember like the one where Popeye was abducted by aliens which was pretty creepy when I was a kid back in the 50’s and 60’s. The Max Fleischer Popeye cartoons that were 3-D from the 30’s are the best
Yeah,the post-Fleischer Popeye cartoons from Paramount were kind of sucky.
They lacked the gritty, funky, kind of surreal atmosphere that the Fleischer brothers cartoons had.
