JTN: U.S. Border Patrol agents this week apprehended a Mexican man with a record of multiple deportations and a conviction in California for a sex crime against a minor.
The 37-year-old was arrested along with two other Mexican males who were in the country illegally. He had a 2006 conviction in California for “Lewd or Lascivious Acts with a Child under 14” and was deported after serving time in prison, officials said.
The man had been removed from the country on other occasions, but the U.S. Customs and Border Protection press release does not specify the exact number of deportations, it only states that he had “several prior deportations.” more
