I found this on the Twitter feed for Politics and Humor and found it an interesting read. Self- described recovering Muslim Bosch Fawstin explains that there is no moderate Muslim or Islamic extremist.
There are only non-observant Muslims and observant Muslims.
The Islamic State is Islam in practice. Those that try to deny the evil nature at the heart of Islam on display in the Islamic State are lying and /or fooling themselves.
And don’t expect Non-observant Muslims to take up the fight against observant Muslims, or for them to ever reform their religion. They won’t, they expect non-Muslims to save them from their more committed brethren.
One of my co-workers was a teacher who had moslem kids in her classes. He was talking to some of the kids who were ‘teaching’ him about islam. He told me some things about how loving they are and tolerant. I nearly laughed in his face, but thought better. I told him that he should read the koran and not just what the kids told him to read, all of it.
He never talked about it again. He never converted.
This is what I keep telling people as well. Read the koran. Read it, read it, read it! Everything that jihadists do is commanded in the koran. Cutting off heads, taking conquered woman and girls as sex slaves, destroying all traces of the conquered people’s culture — the art, the architecture — it is all commanded in the koran.
If I hear one more media talking head suggest that “radical islam” is a perversion of true islam (as Bill O’Reilly did just last night) I am going to send him or her a koran of their own to read.

Agreed. Read the Koran. Then read the works of Robert Spencer, Ibn Warraq, and “The Sword of the Prophet” by Serge Trifkovic. Follow that up with anything from Dr. Mark Gabriel (his life story is terrifying!), especially “Islam and Terrorism” (new and updated in 2015), You’ll find that Bosch Fawstin is absolutely CORRECT!

I pisses me off when I hear people describe terrorists as radical Muslims when the correct description is Orthodox Muslims.
The Koran, and the other Islamic texts, are mostly what a prog would call hate speach. Mein Kampf is much more jew friendly.
