It will likely be announced sometime Thursday.

Williams will not be returning to the “NBC Nightly News” anchor chair; his fill-in Lester Holt will become the program’s permanent anchor.

  1. NBC, MSNBC, for that matter he could go to CBS, ABC, CNN….
at this point, WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE ?!

  2. Well if they’re right it shouldn’t come as any surprise since Williams has never been a journalist it’s only right that he ends up at a news network that hasn’t any. Look for MSNBC to tie themselves around Williams and make him the focal point their network.

  3. Inspired by the most trusted man in news, Walt the Crank, who nightly told Americans that Nixon’s illegal war in Viet Nam was lost, they’ll call it, “And that’s the way it was,” by Buyin Williams.
