I’m not a #NeverCruz nor a #NeverTrump. I will bet my future on the republican side of the ticket by voting. I choose this even though the gravitational pull of the GOPe’s tractor beems seem to be aimed at TrusTed and he doesn’t seem to be kicking and screaming so much now. In fact it seems he has welcomed the tug. I have an feeling we’ll be peed on again by the GOPe, but I’ll vote for it anyway. “Stale cake or Death” seems to be the only path. Loco, considering what Fur said he would call and do to anyone who came out as #nevercruz, I was surprised that any did at all during the survey. I did note that most of the regular posters here that have come out previously as #nevercruz were conspicuous by their absence in the survey.
For the record, I am glad that Fur is not following up on his promise. I recognize that frustration with facing an unpleasant reality can make one a bit rash.

@bfh – for whatever it is worth, I agree with Loco on this. You seem to have a bit of a blind spot in seeing the #NeverCruzers on this site. You did call the poll pretty early, and those of us who pay attention to these things did note that a lot of the most rabid Cruz-haters declined to vote.

Being new to the Republican party (if you are even a member), it is not surprising that you know little of it’s history, even recent.
There where no open primaries when Reagan ran, so, it is true that there were no Reagan Democrats during the primaries.
Reagan Democrats came to be in the general election.
There may very well end up being Trump or Cruz Democrats, but that remains an intangible until the election.
We know for a fact that many Democrats voted in the McCain and Romney primaries thwarting the will of Republicans, we also know that it is happening in open primaries in this time also.
Take the time to learn about the Republican party and you will have an easier time convincing people that you are a Republican.
