Not only was the State Department’s Kristie Kenney informed that her services would no longer be needed, but the office in which she ended her career, Counselor of the United States Department of State, is being eliminated. Ouch.
That’s the kind of thing that happens to a person with a phony baloney hospital administer job.
Bet that self satisfied smirk is off her face now. Ta ta toots!
Ta-ra-ra Boom-de-ay!
Ta-ra-ra Boom-de-ay!
Ta-ra-ra Boom-de-ay!
Ta-ra-ra Boom-de-ay!
A smarmy snowflake girl you see,
Belle of progressive society;
Not too smart, but
As left as left can be!
insanely horrid,
Not too hot but really too cold,
But the very thing, I’m told,
You’d like to scold!
CHORUS
Ta-ra-ra Boom-de-ay!
Ta-ra-ra Boom-de-ay!
Ta-ra-ra Boom-de-ay!
Ta-ra-ra Boom-de-ay,
Ta-ra-ra Boom-de-ay,
Ta-ra-ra Boom-de-ay,
Ta-ra-ra Boom-de-ay,
Ta-ra-ra Boom-de-ay!
Tillerson will end the “Money for nothing and your chicks for free” culture at the State Department. At ExxonMobil, if your position/job didn’t add value to the company’s bottom line, you didn’t last long.
Draining the swamp, one useless office/orafice at a time.
I’d hate to be selling an expensive house in the greater DC area.
Bye, Felicia!
“United States Department of State” is that next to The Department of Redundancy Department? Sheesh
she will have lts of time to grow her eyebrows.
if you pluck gals, do not remove the front half.
She did a fine job as ambassador to the Philippines.
The filipnos liked her.The Obama replacement, not so much.
I assume that they’re pensioned off (put on the taxpayers’ dime – already on the taxpayers’ dime, but pretending to work – now they don’t even have to pretend) since they’re not dismissed for cause? Couldn’t they have shifted them to, say, the Forestry Dept. in the Mojave? At least then they’d quit and we’d be done with them. Or re-locate the entire dept. to North Dakota? Or Northern Alaska?
izlamo delenda est …
I hope no one forgets to change all the locks, passwords and other security features.
7th floor, only 6 more to go.
Mr. Tillerson is already making his presence known at the State Department. More to follow—
I was with an agency that had an office at a U.S. consulate in Germany. Those people are a microcosm representation of the populace and some of the most entitled, weirdos I ever had the misfortune of working with. This needs to happen at all the agencies. Too many career government employees that are useless.
He next has to send some trusted people to the embassies around the globe with a view to blowing out the elitist deadwood stationed there. One thing to remember though is that this SecState attitude of a shadow government has been around for decades sabotaging a Presidents direction if they thought it wasn’t the right (theirs) direction. They are deeply entrenched and will be tough to root out. It has to be done quickly and cleaning and as much as possible at one time. This is true for the other departments as well (some more then others). Maybe the biggest legacy Trump will leave his successors is a civil service that actually caries out a Presidents directions as he directs and is honest.
It’s like an early spring cleaning!
just remember sweetie, always remember to ask the customer if they want to supersize, and before you know it you’ll be ready to work the drive thru
Trump can clear out YUGE swaths of federal deadwood, including State, by enforcing a ‘zero tolerance for conflicts of interest ” policy, and requiring immediate resignations (NOT retirements) for the many who can’t comply.
Eliminate any Federal employee married to, or associated with, etc, any industry they regulate, any lobbyist, any Press, etc.
up the stakes.
Also, no lobbying by ANY former Federal employee for a minimum of 5 years (and a lifetime ban on lobbying for foreign powers).
I cannot eat just one. MOAR
Trump and all his senior picks will run the government like a business. This is what Trump meant when he said “his administration is running like a fine tuned machine.” I hear it humming right along. Go Trump!
Breaking news! A federal judge just issued a stay on her firing, ruling it unconstitutional.
I kid, I kid. Don’t take to the Twitter just yet, lefties.
The Federal Government needs an immediate 50% RIF. The baby boomers are retiring in increasing numbers and before long Social Security and Medicare will eat up 100% of tax revenues.
This is 3X awesome and like scr north says, Rex needs to keep going. Extreme left wing activists like this incompetent twit of a twerp are deeply burrowed in the State Dept. and there are hundreds if not thousands exactly like her. Rex really should terminate everyone on the staff, at Foggy Bottom and around the world, and then rebuild at about .2 of the current size. The gargantuan State dept bldg in DC is disgustingly oversized and a monument to communism and government waste. I say send everyone home and auction off the damned thing, then find another smaller office somewhere else. The place is crawling with commie leftists like this enemy of the state that just got the sack. Good on ya Rex, keep going and put your foot on the gas.
Tillerson needs a form pink slip notice he can hand out at a moments’ notice.
“Dear X, your services are no longer needed here. Either your job has been scrubbed, or you can easily be replaced by a brick tied to a string. So in lieu of your severance pay, retirement benefits, Cadillac health care, triple time, unused vaycay, and for some strange reason Earned Income Credit and an L.I.R.R. Conductors’ retirement fund,…please accept this gift basket of Sherrys’ Berries and a years subscription to Rush 24/7.”

Since it’s already paid for, why not use it to house all the refugees State just imported?
The Federal Gov could easily shrink by half and we would see no effect. Perhaps as much as 75%. Regulations, probably 75% reduction.
