“Cheapy Joe,” the deadbeat dad, Announces Campaign To Primary Trump

Fox-

“I’m running because he’s unfit; somebody needs to step up and there needs to be an alternative,” Walsh said. “The country is sick of this guy’s tantrum — he’s a child.”

At the same time, Walsh recognized that he himself is guilty of the same behavior as the president, and even played a part in the division in Washington that led to Trump’s election.

“I helped create Trump,” the Tea Party favorite told ABC News‘ George Stephanopoulos in an interview that aired Sunday morning. “I feel responsible for that.”

Walsh claimed that Trump was “tweeting us into a recession” and warned that “he’ll tweet us into war.”

Stephanopoulos called out Walsh for making outlandish statements of his own, including calling former President Barack Obama a Muslim and an enemy. Walsh said Trump “made me reflect on some of the things I’ve said in the past,” acknowledging that at times he “went beyond the policies and idea” and “said some ugly things about President Obama that I regret.”

When asked if he truly believes what he said about Obama, Walsh responded, “God no, and I have apologized for that.”

During the same interview, however, Walsh made a series of personal attacks against President Trump.

“He’s nuts, he’s erratic, he’s cruel, he stokes bigotry,” Walsh said. He accused Trump of not caring about America, saying, “the only thing he cares about is Trump.”

Walsh also cited Trump’s 2016 campaign promise to build a wall along the southern border and to have Mexico pay for it, which has not happened.

“He’s incompetent. He has no freakin’ clue what he’s doing,” Walsh said.

The Trump campaign had far fewer words in response to Walsh’s announcement.

“Whatever,” campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh said to ABC.

  1. He’s not even the REAL Joe Walsh. You know. The guy who can shred a guitar.

Go home little joey. Maybe you and billy weld can pull the dining room chairs into a circle and throw a bed sheet over it and make a fort.
    Honestly

  2. Occam’s razor –
He’s a sleazebag. He owes over $100K in delinquent child support. A run for the presidency (however unrealistic) will trick some Nevertrumpers to donate. For as long as he can keep up this charade he will pay himself a handsome salary out of the till. When the donations peak he will “drop out of the race” and keep the rest of the cash, leaving his campaign staff in the lurch.

  3. They’ll parade him around the LSM for a couple of weeks and then they’ll be bored with it. Just like they were bored with that MA governor (R) no (I) no wait, (R)? Yeah, he’s an (R) again guy who is running.
    (Is he still running?)

Voted one of the most corrupt in Congress, Joe Walsh. HAHAHAHA. Looks like there are 2 joes running without a difference.

    From the link above…

“Court records show Rep. Walsh was ordered to pay his ex-wife $2,134 a month in child support beginning in November 2005, but he made only partial payments through March 2008. Between April 2008 and December 2010, Rep. Walsh allegedly made no payments at all, leaving him with a debt of $117,437.25. The congressman failed to disclose this obligation on his personal financial disclosure forms.

Rep. Walsh’s reports of his income have been inconsistent. He told a reporter his 2009 income was between $30,000 and $40,000, and he reported about $65,000 to the IRS. On his financial disclosure forms for the first 9 months of the year, he claimed $21,000 in earned income with an additional $20,000-$60,000 in other income. On the other hand, he told his ex-wife he had no income, and in a 2011 court filing reported just $29,000 for the year.

Oddly enough, Rep. Walsh also paid $3,300 per month in rent in 2009, totaling almost $40,000 for the year, which would have left him penniless or in debt. Nevertheless, Rep. Walsh still managed to loan his election campaign $35,500 between November 2009 and August 2010.

The freshman congressman has a long history of financial problems, including tax liens, lawsuits regarding failure to pay debts, and a foreclosure on a condominium.”

Yeaaaah that’s who we want as president. A broke joke.

  4. Jethro – I agree.
This is to raise cash for him and Kristol. Joe2 will be out of the race as soon as the people he owes money to come running with their past due demands in hand. The trick is to get out before he has a very public meltdown. heh.

  5. Pretty sure I gave this dude money back during the Tea Party wave. Like Scott Brown and many other disappointing people who professed conservatism but were deceptive marketeers.

Won’t get fooled again. Oh no. Won’t get fooled again.

  6. Is this clown auditioning for a gig with CNN or MSNBC?
I’ve heard a minute or two of this asshole’s radio show and switched stations immediately!

I guess he saw how it worked out for the lying criminal McCabe.

I guess CNN ratings won’t get any worse when the IG report comes out.

  7. I agree with MJA, Jethro and others. This is just a run for the dough and he’ll bail when the never-trump udder runs dry. That’s why your election act needs to be changed so that drop outs of a nomination race (or an election) at the federal level need to have an outside audit of the financials, the pay off of outstanding REAL debt and either the return if practical, of donations (similar process to a bankruptcy) or the donation of whatever is left over to paying down the national debt. A similar action would be taken with whatever fundraising actions are taken afterwards to pay outstanding campaign debt. Anything over what was needed is used to pay down the national debt. You sure as hell wouldn’t see over 20 candidates with only a couple of viable ones running for a nomination and turning the process into a notional joke.

  8. Isn’t this the guy who, during his unsuccessful run for re-election, denied he had outstanding child support payments, then after he lost that election, he claimed he couldn’t pay the (delinquent) court ordered payments because he was then unemployed?
    LOL
yeah, we need a guy like that running the country.
He won’t support his own kids and he wants to be a father of this country?
    hard pass on him

  9. PJ, one of the most successful advertising campaigns ever has to be MyPillow. My wife got sucked into it and bought some. I tried it one night, and woke up the next day with a stiff neck that lasted for 3 more days. I wonder how much that guy spends on radio advertising. Anyway, I put the MyPillows in the guest room and everyone thinks they are great. There might be something wrong with me.

  10. The Bush#neverTrump left will do anything to elect NOT DON`! As they did with BHO they will work to keep conservatives out – red Sarah. But backing Clinton did not work; this will also not work

  11. It’s so obvious that this guy got his ‘Trump facts’ from an Alec Baldwin SNL skit…

Stokes bigotry? Tweet us into a recession? He’s witless???

There is no evidence to support any of those outrageous slangerous attacks.
