Illinois Policy; From 2013 to 2016, Chicago Public Schools purchased more than $250,600 worth of gift cards, most of which were meant for students and families. But CPS employees stole some of them, according to the inspector general’s office.
Chicago Public Schools employees stole thousands of dollars in gift cards meant for students, according to a report from the Chicago Board of Education’s Office of Inspector General, or OIG.
The OIG’s annual report released Jan. 3 “included a series of theft cases in which CPS employees used gift cards, paid for with school funds, to make personal purchases.”
In addition to documenting the improper use of gift cards, Inspector General Nicholas Schuler detailed a variety of alleged thefts in the report, explaining how CPS teachers, staff and principals used funds meant for students for personal purposes. The report does not name those individuals accused of wrongdoing.
From Jan. 1, 2013, to Dec. 21, 2016, CPS spent more than $250,600 on nearly 7,500 gift cards, according to the OIG’s report. What’s the problem? These came from Obama’s stash.
And Taxes were used for redistribution of income, payoffs, kickbacks, ward committeemen, precinct captains and key administrators. Review the exact list of recipients and determine many are fictitious names or people used to launder the payoffs and give the money to others.

⭐ H.S. kids took home school ipads and the school turned on the cameras and spied on them at home.
⭐ Kick kids out of school because they are too stupid to know the difference between illegal narcotics and aspirin for PMS symptoms. “ZERO TOLERANCE!”
The public schools are run by PROFESSIONAL CLOWNS. Don’t be the least bit surprised by anything that they try to get away with. The most important election other than the White House, is your local SCHOOL BOARD!
The real scary thing: You know it’s going on in Detroit, Boston, New York, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and others too numerous to mention because:
“It’s for the Children! And we need to spend more money for the Children!”

Why didn’t this report name the individuals involved? Why didn’t they name the schools? Why? There is suppose to be transparency, right? This has been going on for a LONG time and I am not surprised. I am sure some LSC members were involved, also.
