Chick-Fil-A Caves – And The Left Still Complains

DanBongino.com:

by Matt Palumbo.

After nearly a decade of holding their ground against left-wing hysteria, Chick-Fil-A finally caved to pressure yesterday and ceased donations to three Christian charities that had been slandered as “homophobic.” The charities included the Salvation Army (which has an entire section of their website detailing services they offer to LGBT individuals), Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Paul Anderson Youth Home.

The bar for homophobia has apparently been lowered to “charitable organization with a Christian mission statement.” CFA at least hasn’t ceased donations to charity entirely, and plans on donating $9 million to charity in 2020, plus $25,000 per new store opened.

CFA allowed fake news to win out in this case, and that hasn’t even appeased the perpetrators. In fact, in their eyes, CFA caving has only legitimized their narrative. read more

  1. Never Ever give an inch to leftists.
    Especially faggots. Oh wait…

But you already knew that. Seriously though. These monsters play a ground game that involves taking ground when weakness is detected.

    Just make me asammich.

  2. Well, there are some upsides to this. Chick-fil-A will become less crowded; the wait time will become shorter, and the drive-thru will have a lot less traffic. Also, maybe now they’ll open on Sunday.

Hey, Ben & Jerry’s makes great ice cream, even if they are a couple of hippie boomers who sold out to the multinational, globalist giant Unilever.

  3. Why give into destructive, worthless, hateful, zero value faggots who’ve never purchased your products and will never purchase your products no matter how much you concede?

  4. Chick-Fil-A’s new marketing manager has his or her head up their ass. This wasn’t predictable!!!? Why yes it was. Fire the Millennial and reverse your position. That 10% is not your market anyway. What a dumb decision.

  5. Let the market, you and I, decide. I have never been there before so no biggie for me and will not be going now given their cowardice.

There is just too much choice…within the market.

  6. We actually went out of our way to patronize CFA, because of their principled stand against homosexual marriage. Now we will treat them like any other fast food franchise. Gutless cowards.

  7. Wrong move. First, Chik-Fil-A is dealing with leftists – they are miserable people who will never be happy. Second, leftist organizations make their money by being loudly aggrieved; they don’t want their particular problem solved because that would make their rice bowl go away. Third, most people don’t give a rat’s ass about these leftists, who are a minority in this country and most of whom don’t go to Chick-Fil-A anyway.

Chick-Fil-A is damaging its brand by catering to a segment of the population who will never like them anyway. These activists should be ignored.

  8. I’ve never seen a chick-fil-a, but I’ve been looking forward to getting a famous chicken sandwich. Now I’ll keep on driving, I never cared for chicken sandwiches anyway, I was only going to go in because I respected their principles. I actually make a hell of a good chicken parmesan on garlic toast sandwich that is probably better anyway.

  9. I said yesterday it’s not even really about who or what they donate to, it’s that they made a public statement and insinuating the charities were bad people.
Did it hurt them, I say yes it will and it doesn’t matter that after the backlash they’re making excuses, their public statement hurt them.

  10. “This just in – Chick-fil-A is suddenly welcome in California:”

Wrong. I have about 5 within 10 miles and one going in right down the street. Ur speaken about Butt Fuck Ville, not California.

  11. There are many people who claim to be Christians, but only as viewing Christianity as a religion to a part of. Christians can be proud of their educations and positions, but never even understanding that Jesus Christ is supposed to be their Savior and Lord to obey and live for.. It appears that Tim Tassopoulos is that kind of religious Christian and the Cathays didn’t even know it when they decided that he should run the organization. Tassopoulos may excel at business success, but he totally lacks knowledge of what it takes to be a follower of Jesus. Pagan business practices are not faith-based practices. Christians have been being deceived into accepting monetary accumulation as being proof of God’s blessings on faithfulness, but God only blesses Spiritual obedience to His own Word. A Christian cannot serve both God and money(Satan).

Chick-Fil-A’s Latest Capitulation Has Them Siding With Lesbians, Sodomites & Transgenders

“Tassopoulos told Bisnow “There are lots of articles and newscasts about Chick-fil-A, and we thought we needed to be clear about our message.”

Apparently, Tassopoulos did not know that the Chick-Fil-A message was very clear — that they were going to adhere to, uphold and maintain Christian standards and morals while operating their business! What should be readily clear to those who surround the upper echelon of the Chick-Fil-A corporation is that Tassopoulos should not be steering their ship!”

  12. @Shazzam Thank you for the link to that article. I’m generally skeptical about “breaking”, “bombshell” headlines that sweep the internet and media and will give this a little time to shake out before being too disappointed in CFA. My family generally prefers home cooked meals so any fast food joint wouldn’t miss our very limited business anyway.

  13. Maybe they should have kept their mouth shut, instead of clucking about ending certain donations to certain Christian groups.

Maybe they should have simply reduced the amount of money from their long-term contract donations, yet kept small donations going out on an annual basis.

Agree with geeknerd; less crowded now.

  14. I just got reaction from Sam Cathy this morning.

He said, “Damn Dan. I knew this was coming; he played with Barbies as a kid. I should have appointed Bubba and put Dan in Dwarf House.”
