KFI640: A woman from Breckenridge, Colorado, was seriously injured after she was trampled by a moose. Authorities said that two bull moose decided to spend their Saturday afternoon in her yard, which didn’t seem to bother the homeowner. Later in the evening, the woman looked out of her window and noticed that some people appeared trapped in their car by the two moose.
She went outside and tried to guide the massive animals away from the vehicle and off her property. more here

However DH came within 3 – 6 feet of being trampled by 3 deer rounding the corner of our house one day. Thank God the lead deer put on his brakes just in time. To DH’s credit, he didn’t poop his pants. I would have.
My kids will tell anyone who will listen, leave wild animals alone UNTIL you have cut a branch and poked them in the eye to see if it blinks. If they ain’t dead, back off. Even a doe can beat the crap out of a person. They will get ya down and try and gut you with their rear hooves. Like this one tried on a good size dog.
