Republicans want to see the visitor logs from President Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware, where some of the illegally possessed classified documents were discovered.
On Sunday, White House chief of staff Ron Klain received a letter from Rep. James Comer (R), head of the House Oversight Committee. Comer said that it is unclear “about who may have examined or had access to sensitive information” in light of the documents being found in Biden’s home. He also requested the names of the Biden aides who carried out the searches as well as the dates they occurred.
Comer described Biden’s home as “basically a crime scene.” He expressed concern over the fact that Biden’s personal attorneys, who lack security credentials, were searching the home. Officials from the White House made no comments on the situation on Sunday.
Rep. Jamie Raskin (far-left shitweasel) said that while there are significant differences between the cases, “We need to have a sense of proportion and measure about what we’re talking about.” Now, suddenly, it’s slow down time. No need to go off half-cocked and start poking around where there is no evidence of wrong-doings. That kinda thing is reserved for going after the GOP.
Comer responded when asked on Sunday if his committee will look into Trump, “I don’t feel like we need to spend a whole lot of time investigating President Trump, because the Democrats have done that for the past six years.”
