That’s just encouragement to chow down the whole bag.
I noticed this subtle change. A calamansi drink I thought was 50cal turned into five servings and a total 250cal.
I still drink it, it’s just YUMMYer!!!
At least the labeling is more honest about reality….
If the whole bag calorie count is less than twice the serving calories,
how can the whole bag total fat be more than twice the serving fat?
They round up?
TO U Al
“about” is the key.
And, *if* they’re going to go the “consumer info” route,
then better that it’s more honest (esp. with these teeny tiny single serving bags)…
I always considered it “deceptive” to arbitrarily say a bag or can had “x” servings…and then you had to multiply to get a real number to make a more accurate judgment.
These chips are boring. Says it right there on the bag: 0MG – 0%
I only look at the carb count anyway lol.
If this catches on tho it’s a good thing, the Era of multiple servings per candy bar or even worse the tiny bag of chips needs to go away. It’s deceptive, no one is going to look that closely at their food. What? There’s 8 serving in here? So that’s 1000 calories? Oops.
I remember the comedienne Elaine Boozler talking about buying a small container of ice cream. She said, “On the side it said, ‘Serves four’. I thought, ‘Serves four what – MICE?'”
🙂
@Al – the crumbs have more fat?
😉
Only the malnourished pay any attention to this crap. Fat asses with EBT cards grab unhealthy stuff by the arms full.

At least they got all the zero’s right.
