Depends on how an invasion unfolds. An EMP attack followed by thousands of drone and cruise missile strikes along our coasts would soften us up pretty badly prior to an actual invasion. At that point, the US’s coastal cities would be sitting ducks. To make the invasion stick, they’d have to eliminate our Navy and much of our Air Force in the first round.

Lightly glossed over is how well the civilians in this nation are armed. It is estimated by the manufacurers that there at LEAST 20 Million Armalite Rifle semi-automatic model 15s (AR-15) style rifles in civilian hands. Add to that the number of other semi-auto rifles and shot guns plus bolt-action rifles and the number is staggering. Over one firearm for every person in the country. Let the invaders come through NYC, Philly, Baltimore, DC or Oakland (“Cokeland”) (let alone the anarchic mess in Seattle and Portland) and deal with the gang-bangers. Then whats left of them will deal with skilled civilian marksman. As a Japanese general said during WW2, “there would be a rifle behind every blade of grass”. Thank you founding fathers for our Second Amendment.

Think of any country’s defenses and some potential enemy has thought of a way through, over, under, or around it.
If we had a fairly united people, no power would dare try to invade us. But we don’t. Our fatal weakness is our people, or at least half of them: lazy, stupid, ill educated, drugged up, focused on sex, entertainment, dopey celebrities, and wokeness. The very people that would fight an invader are castigated daily for being patriots and protectors of our constitution.
This “homeland” bullshit needs to stop.
