Creep Busters is the Canadian version of “To Catch a Predator,” but it’s a little bit more amateur hour. They set up guys and then confront them and then video them and then post the videos on Facebook.
Some people think they are a bit reckless. Some people think they are vigilante bullies. Some people love their work. Some say they are heroes.
This particular story seems to have both camps at loggerheads.
A 21 year-old man whose mental development is still that of a young teen, who’s never had a girlfriend before, decided it was time to meet girls. A friend recommended an online site where men and women chat.
A 21 year-old girl pinged him and told him she thought he was cute and wanted to go out on a date. After going back and forth (the text has not been released) the girl told him she was really 14. She asked if that was okay. He said it was.
During the discussion she asked if he had a job. He gave her the address hoping that she come meet him at the skating rink where he worked as a scorekeeper for a mens hockey league.
The next day he was confronted with the Creep Catchers.
The man stood there not knowing what was going on. They actually asked him if there was something wrong with him.
He said, “no.”
They asked him to take them to his boss. They told him they were going to tell the boss he was a pedophile.
They followed through with the threat. The man was fired.
The debate is now raging, and unexpectedly, most people are on the 21 year-old’s side, including Canada’s solicitor general.
He’s just a kid. So these jackasses ruin his life?
What was his crime? Meeting a teenager at a skating rink?
14 eh? Yeeeeeeeck, tastes like pee.

And I assume the “14 yr old” is nonexistent, and was actually some adult (male?) TV staffer entrapping the retarded kid online?
And a TV crew then gets him fired and portrays him as a sex offender?
All so they can have a commercial show to sell for a profit?
I hope his parents or other adult helpers lawyer up and sue the show for $Zillions.
After which the entire show staff/producers should die in a fiery SUV crash. Trapped and screaming as they burn alive.
Beyond that, I’m neutral.
A horror story. I have pity for the kid. Cody Hunter should be hunted down and have the shit kicked out of him. I hope there is a law suit.
Who are the Creeps here? They initiated the contact, entrapped the kid, then did their best to ruin his life. I hope karma kicks those two creeps in the crotch, and soon.

Of all the nasty crap that gets posted here, I find your comment more disturbing than usual.
There were a few like this guy who showed up at the homes of the ones who did the entrapment. A couple of them on to Catch a Predator actually got caught multiple times. They are mentally ill but in a different way than being a full blown predator. Some that were caught were doctors, teachers and even Rabbis. This kid was just too slow on the take. I do feel sorry for him.
Shameful. They have put this kid at serious risk. Already challenged, their “good deed” could result in serious depression and suicide risk. For what? He’s harmless and they’re clueless.
If he kills himself…not sure what might happen in Canada.
