DACA To End Gradually

Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced this morning the end of the Obama Era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and that the policy will be “phased out over the course of six months.”

In making the announcement Sessions was not shy in his criticism of the previous administrations violation of the law and how such action undermines the checks and balances of our form of government.

  1. It was sad to watch the press conference, reporters hung up on feelings… nothing more than feeeeelingsssss. They demand the president act like a fascist and legislate with a phone and pen

  2. The gall of this jug-eared ass putting in place these tenuous, illegal executive orders and then, after Trump was elected, he said to go easy on use of the same. DO AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO. Obama wanted to RULE, no LEAD. When the people had spoken and took the majority back, Obama had this to say:

“My strong preference has always been to legislate when I can get legislation done,” Obama said. “In my first two years I wasn’t relying on executive powers because I had big majorities in the Congress and we were able to get bills done, get bills passed.”

In other words, I will write laws as I see fit, screw the American voters.

    Well, FU Obama.

  3. The clock started today on The Big Ugly. Friends, we are living a most interesting moment in U.S. history. You should all be keeping journals of some kind ’cause we’ll be showcased in the annals of it. I can just see a diorama of BFH, sitting on the edge of the sofa, tapping out communiques to the people at IOTWReport, in the Smithsonian one day.

  4. AND NOW THE LONG-LEGGED MACK DADDY IS ALL OVER SOCIAL MEDIA TRYING TO TAKE THE MORAL HIGH GROUND!!

HEY OBAMA, I HEAR THERE’S SOME MORAL HIGH GROUND SOMEWHERE IN KENYA WAITING FOR THE TAKING!! PLEASE GO, AND TAKE YOUR DOG HILLARY WITH YOU!!

THIS DUDE IS LIKE THE TRICK BIRTHDAY CANDLE THAT WON’T BLOW OUT!!

  5. Brilliant move (again) by President Trump! Remove the illegal Obama executive order and dump this right in the lap of congress! Paul Ryan, in 2014 criticized the executive order as unconstitutional (which it was), but now was telling Trump not to reverse the order! Great to see these shit weasels squirm.

  6. Too much hype on this “big ugly” stuff.
I FIRST want to see some sort of
Jacksonian “F U, Supreme Court!” act
from Trump, before I get all giggly.

    6 months?
Like Burner said, all it takes is YET ANOTHER Obama/Clinton holdover to throw the wrench in.

Metaphorically, I first want to see
    the torch in Trump’s hand
    throwing it on Capitol Hill.

  7. CoD — It will be not just a Big Ugly, but a Yuge Ugly. As the post indicates, this just painted Ryan, McConnell, McCain, Graham, McCarthy and the rest of the Republicrats into a stinky corner. Oh my! And with elections coming up, too! How sad for them. See the tears? 😉

What the hell are they going to run on? How will they be able to smear their competition in the primaries? The Town Hall format will be incredibly interesting, to say the least.

  8. TO AA
That’s EXACTLY my point: the jerkwads you name have been RE-elected over and over by their constituents, and there’s NO REASON I see for them to change their voting patterns in 2018 (as much as you and I and COMMON SENSE would want them to).

  9. I’m just glad minorities who hate this racist country have a way out!

Liberals should be driving them to the border to save them from the racial tyranny they might face if they stay.

  10. CoD — But that’s where you and me and everyone else who wants to free this country from these parasites, comes in. I’ve been saying forever that Trump’s election was just the analogous coin toss in the game. We’ve picked up some yardage, but there’s still four quarters to go and the clock is ticking. You know the issues better than most people, so it’s you who will be talking to people. Stop and think about why you know what you know. Our time is now to fight. And win.

  11. TO AA
I think I know what you mean BUT, seeing as how we are not in Kentucky or Wisconsin (or wherever the more critical races of the crapweasels are), our ability to influence is very limited…and just a little too much effort can easily backfire among the local electorate, as being seen as interlopers/carpetbaggers/outside troublemakers, creating a backlash of support for the crapweasel in “defense” of those “outsiders.”
