Dan Crenshaw Calls Out Bernie Sanders for ‘Pandering’ to Vets: ‘Now It’s Personal’

Texas Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw, a former U.S. Navy SEAL, blasted 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders this week for “pandering” to military veterans.

It all started Sunday, when the Vermont senator tried to make a point about how veterans are taken care of in the United States.

“If you can’t afford to take care of your veterans, then don’t go to war,” Sanders tweeted.

Crenshaw, who lost his eye in a combat injury sustained in 2012 in Afghanistan, wasn’t having it.

This time, he said, Sanders’ pandering is “personal.”

“Watching Bernie pander to different groups to get their vote has always disgusted me, but now it’s personal,” Crenshaw tweeted Tuesday.

“I didn’t go to war so that you would take care of me, Bernie,” he added. “I went because I wanted to serve and our country needed it.” MORE

  1. I would imagine that the quality of healthcare would improve drastically if all congresscritters would be required to go to the VA for treatments.

  2. Maybe Sander’s lawn care specialists (those Hispanics of course who deserve $ 20 an hour) should start exposing his ass to agent orange among other things and then refuse him treatment when he discovers what it did to his skin 3o yeqrs later.

  3. Any “man” who got kicked out a hippy commune for not pulling their weight, didn’t have a freekin’ job until he was 40, lost any right to lecture anybody about anything.

  4. It’s personal when you want to infringe my constitutional rights too Mr. Crenshaw. Shove your entertaining red flag laws where the sun don’t shine.

  5. Just like Joe Biden curing Cancer if He gets elected…Sanders has

either served or sat on the VA Committee for all these Years and

hasn’t done a damn thing to help anyone.
