Dems Will Have To Sue To Stop Pandemic Relief

PJ Media

President Donald Trump issued four executive orders extending relief during the coronavirus pandemic after Democrats in Congress refused to compromise with the White House to pass a relief bill. Trump has almost certainly exceeded his authority with these orders, and Democrats plan to challenge them in court. Yet by signing these orders, the president called their bluff. Democrats refused to work with him to secure coronavirus relief, planning to make Trump look heartless. In response, the president called their bluff, and now Democrats have to fight against the relief Americans need. More

  1. The smell of uncontrolled democrat hair fires will overpower the news today, or, they will pretend nothing happened. Either way, they are so screwed. Well played POTUS.

  2. “Refuse to compromise” means refusal to remove ALL the bullshit pork they include, like with the LAST ‘relief’, that has nothing to do with “Virus Relief”.
    Contemptible assholes.

  3. Obama issues an unconstitutional DACA EO in June 2012, near the end of his first term. It stands without serious challenge for four years, until Trump wins and begins to challenge it in 2017. The counterattack of the Judges begins immediately, and three years later, the John Roberts court upholds Obama’s unconstitutional DACA EO.

So sue like hell, Democrats. The wheels of justice grind slowly, and you can’t make the turn much faster, at least not as fast as you need. By the time you get your court victory—assuming you get a victory—Trump will be well into his second term and everybody will be like “Dude, that was, like, four years ago!”

Trump has put you in the box Obama built for him. But you go ahead and sue, sue, sue.

  5. Gotta side with Rand Paul on this issue. They haven’t even spent all the money from the last package. When are we going to start addressing our National Debt?

  6. Okay, a little dose of reality here. We’re dealing with an irrational enemy (TDS anyone). Democrat and RINO politicians fighting for their political lives, appealing to ignorant irrational rage-filled voters, all being reported or not reported by the DNC mouthpiece media.

Our only hope is that there are enough democrat swing voters who still have a shred of common sense and decency to see where their party is leading them.

Enter massive voter and/or riots on steroids into the mix, and it once again looks bleak.

    Verdict: cautious optimism

  7. I am hearing that the “Trump/Pence” signs are going up outside of the cities much as they were in 2016. I am also hearing that he has at least doubled his number of voters in the black communities. I think the only way the D’rats win is by stealing the election with the horribly open to fraud mail in ballots.

  8. The insufferable Jim Cramer on CNBC predicted this last week and begged the democrats to make a deal and not allow themselves to get into this position so it wasn’t really brilliant chess instead of them unwilling to give up mail in fraud and all their other money for illegals, green new deal BS. Last I checked congress had a dismal approval rating and Trump is at 50% on Rasmussen so there you go.

  9. It’s a shame that even Trump thinks he has to put on a Santa Claus costume to win votes. The American public is fully aware that they can vote themselves benefits, and that is what they will do, come hell or bankruptcy.

  10. Way to go Democrats. Jumped the shark and got called on it.
Props to President Trump. I think he is vulnerable to judicial overturn, but it opens the Democrats to have to try and prevent giving money to people and then justify it.

BTW, I completely agree with @B_B, spend the approved money first.

  11. Sure the debt is high, but it’s going to take more than one person complaining about it. The only way the debt is going to be addressed, is if the Democrat’s never have power for at least 50 year’s and the Rino’s need to kicked out too.

I wish we could get rid of McConnell he’s good with the judge nominations but that’s it. The Repube’s are scared of the media giving them a ration of crap. That’s why they never address the issue.

Do you think Trump’s happy with the debt? I doubt it. Seems like he is the only one working for the American people.
