What happened to “Pro-Choice”?
CNS: Congressional Democrats introduced legislation on Tuesday that would ban the use of “gender identity conversion therapy” for gay people who want to be straight, but would not interfere with therapy that provides “assistance to an individual undergoing a gender transition.”
In other words, if you want to reduce same-sex attraction and explore your heterosexuality, you can’t use conversion therapy. But if you want to surgically and hormonally “change” from a man to a woman, you can get therapy to assist you.
