DoJ Ends Operation Choke Point

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has confirmed that the Obama Era effort to force banks to not conduct commerce with disfavored businesses like gun dealers and same day lenders has been ended. Operation Choke Point was considered an insidious attempt to end-around due process and an attempt to punish whole industries.

While the FDIC issued a letter instructing banks to review cases on an individual basis in 2015, denial of services by financial institutions was still being reported.

  1. Choke point worked for about 58 seconds. Then the NRA stepped in with financing for retailers. Anybody that manufactures weapons either finances their shit through small local banks or the NRA. NEVER EVER bank with Wells Fargo.
