NYP: Serial burglar done in by woman’s butt.
A serial burglar wanted for breaking into numerous Upper East Side eateries was done in Wednesday when he spotted a woman sunbathing near Gracie Mansion and couldn’t resist grabbing her rear end — in front of an off-duty rookie cop.
Thomas Cronin, 53, was rolling through Carl Schurz Park on a bike when he spotted the bikini clad 45-year-old lying face down on a blanket as she was sunning herself, cops said.
When the creep grabbed her butt, she sprang up and began screaming at him, catching the attention of rookie cop Eric Sullivan, who just happened to be relaxing while reading a book nearby and came running over. more here
