Dr. Deborah Birx Says Americans May Have to Start Wearing Masks Inside Their Own Homes

Dr. Deborah Birx has suggested that Americans may have to start wearing masks inside their own homes in order to fight the spread of coronavirus.

“What we are seeing today is different from March and April. It is extraordinarily widespread. It’s into the rural as equal urban areas,” Birx told CNN.

She then suggested that some Americans may need to cover their faces inside their own homes in order to protect other family members.

“If you’re in multi-generational households, and there’s an outbreak in your rural area or in your city, you need to really consider wearing a mask at home,” said Birx.

The doctor’s advice echoes that of the Texas Division of Emergency Management head Nim Kidd, who said people should wear masks indoors if they have potentially exposed themselves to the virus by being outside.

Florida’s state Democrats have also called for mandatory mask orders which would enforce wearing them inside homes, while residents of Miami and Miami-Dade County have also been told by mayors to wear masks indoors.

  13. They’re seeing what they can get away with, and how much people will accept before revolting against it.

    So far, I have not seen any studies which show lower rates of the virus infections (and I see no discrimination being made between a positive test and actually getting sick) in areas where masks have been required and areas where they have not been.

    Sweden seems to have gotten over it and it is on the wane there in spite of the Media joyously celebrating every case that happened there and predicting a nightmare spread, maybe they could be compared to places where extreme measures have been taken.

The big push for the second wave shutdown, no in person school, back to lining up outside grocery stores, requests to shut down until November and the mask police all so Trump has bad third quarter economic numbers going into the election, he can’t have public events, they can hide Biden, and they can push mail in voting. Dr. Scarf needs to answer why the areas where masks have been mandatory have been hit harder with the virus. How do you enforce that? Send a police officer to a home reported by a nosy neighbor?   39. Capt. Leroy, I was 6 & 7 years old back in the late 50’s and early 60’s and remember the duck and cover drills. Even then I figured out that hiding under my desk was not going to save me in case we were nuked. The left has always had some kind of a made up panic going on in order to scare gullible sheeple into accepting total govt. control of their lives, Globull warming, acid rain, the hole in the ozone layer from Freon, nuclear Winter etc, etc. and probably too may other made up crises that I forgot. They’re almost as bad as all the nuts who believe in the Rapture except they don’t quit and keep going from one hysteria to another.
