This Ain’t Hell: Stupid criminals of the week.
Hospital worker accused of using dead patient’s debit card to buy snacks
A health care worker in the United Kingdom has confessed to using a dead patient’s debit card to buy snacks from the vending machine — including just 17 minutes after the victim died.
Ayesha Basharat, 23, appeared in Birmingham court Wednesday on charges she swiped the dead 83-year-old woman’s card at Heartlands Hospital in the city, news outlet ITV reported.
Doctors had recorded the woman’s time of death as 1:56 p.m. on Jan. 24 — but just 17 minutes later purchases were made on her card at the vending machine, police said.
“The dead woman wasn’t gonna use it!”
Traditional English name there.
Ayesha Basharat sounds either Amish or possibly German but a longshot at being possibly Black Muslim.
Ayesha…..Isn’t that short for ‘A fricking, low down thief?’
78 year old Alzheimer’s patient pretending to be president.
When you go to the Hospital in Toronto, step one is give anything of value to a family member BUT our free health care system is not really that free. There are plenty of “this test in not covered.” You still need some money regularly and before covid that usually meant limited cash. It is almost always the non med staff that pilfer your stuff.
Nothing worse than robbing from the sick before they die.
How can someone be that F**king low down and live?
Ayesha = Sounds like a Middle Eastern sneeze to me.
@Kcir: “Nothing worse than robbing from the sick before they die.”
I can think of another thing that’s just as worse, are people stealing off of graves. Parents caught one was caught on camera:

About that last story in the article…
A reasonable man might say that Chief Hallgrimson COULD have punched the handcuffed man, thrown him on the floor, kicked him repeatedly in the kidneys and gonads, stuffed his head into a toilet and flushed several times until the guy was unconscious, and then awakened him and done it all again. And again. And again.
However, to quote Richard Nixon in both words and intent, “But that would be wrong.”
Parents caught one on camera!
I need to proof read better….
Are they criminals because they are stupid, or are they stupid because they are criminals?
I say the former.
Cut off her hand. Isn’t that the punishment her kind believe in.
She seems nice
Oh this one’s my favorite:
“A former Missouri police chief pleaded guilty to assaulting a handcuffed man who was being held by authorities for allegedly trying to drown his six-month-old daughter in a pond.”
I say the man should be paying the sheriff’s court costs.
