The chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, condemning a “xenophobic and jingoistic” Republican Party and collection of GOP presidential candidates, declared that her left-leaning party has become the political center as a result.
“I think the left is the center of America right now,” said Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
Adding “not the far left,” she told reporters, “I think the messages that come from left of center, that focus on reaching the cornerstones of a middle class life, are really where Americans are today.”
By comparison, she said the Republicans are now a voice for the Tea Party. “The Republican Party voter is strangled by their right wing extremists, by their Tea Party base.”
GO HERE TO SEE THE RADICAL TEA PARTY’S CORE PRINCIPLES.
“declared that her left-leaning party has become the political center as a result.”
Yeah… that explains those landslide elections for Dems in 2010 and 2012. Oh… wait.
And – up is down, black is white and Barry’s a Christian.
On a related note, I heard a news report on WSB750 about Ben Carson, and it ended with, “…Ben Carson, who is the ONLY black Republican candidate for President.”
It’s all delusion and narrative with them.
“The Republican Party voter is strangled by their right wing extremists, by their Tea Party base.”
I don’t know which is worse – the fact that this poor deluded woman actually believes this tripe, or the fact that millions of brain-damaged Democrats believe it.
She can jump out of a 10-story Overton window.
It’s called welfare. She’s right on this one. Most middle class Americans would take free money and ask questions later. That’s because the left has deprived them of personal motivation to be successful on their own. It’s a cancer spreading amongst all our citizens and it needs to be stopped via (in her own words) some radical extremists. Caring for yourself and your family is a radical idea to these morons who lean on the government for everything.
“Adding ‘not the far left.'”
I long for a reporter to have the mind to ask her –
“What would be some examples of far Left positions?”
“The Republican Party voter is strangled by their right wing extremists, by their Tea Party base.”
C’mon, Debbie, you sound like a whiny GOPer. Try this out:
“The Republican Party voter is strangled by the Republican Party.”
Better, no?
DWS, your party is dominated by old white people.
If America is “center left,” why, oh, why, Ramen Head, did your party SOLELY have to pass Obamacare at 1:30 a.m. on Christmas and why was a paltry 21% for giving nukes to Iran?
You know what else? They believe the right “owns” the media. I first heard that a few years back when I used to go to a Bible study that occasionally devolved into political discussion (I didn’t complete the course). “What else do they want?” I recall one woman saying in exasperation. “They already control the media!”
Not sure what world she was living in, but I thought I saw that claim again recently online–maybe by someone prominent, though I forget the details. And in between I’ve heard it repeated like it’s some mantra.
You know what else that tells me? That they don’t even read their own tripe because if they did they’d see how it favors Obama et al.
DWS Democratic charwoman. Fixed it for ya.

.
Monty python charwoman
And I think we can do better than simply use her initials.
Debbie Wasserman Schultz – Dwatz – sounds a bit better at least to my ear.
Huh, that’s creative. I always used vomit head.
AWWW YEAHHHH!!!
Dear DWS:
If you have to describe yourself as “the Left”,
you’re – BY DEFINITION – NOT “The Center”.
IDIOT.
But, HEY: you’re a Leftist…so, that’s cool…that’s all you think.
