  1. Welcome to the club, dumbass. This has been SOP in the Solar Panel industry for years. Two neighbors found out the hard way. The amount of money they had to pay contractors wiped out all their potential savings. The smarter of the two decided against an EV.

  2. We had a massive infrastructure of electric trollies at one time in our major and even minor cities. Local governments happily took bribes from the big three automakers, ripped up all the tracks and other infrastructure, and saddled everyone with their horrible diesel busses. Now governments are screwing us all again for bribes, kickbacks and more. Government is the greatest evil ever created by man.

  3. Interesting. 120 miles to the east of Proterra lays Siemens Transportation. They use to manufacturer LP powered public transportation system. Buses. Now they manufacture electric buses only. They’ve been hiring non stop since Captain Brain Dead was installed. My next door neighbor, a mechanical engineer, hired on there early on. The feds are pouring money into the place. To date they have delivered zero buses. The way it works out is, if it has to be subsidized it’s not a viable product.

  4. This is a huge win for the EV industry. Has the Govt ever abandoned a program with so big a budget, much less one intimately tied to the governing party’s ideology?

No, my friends, this is not a problem, but a glorious victory. You just have to put the right filter on your goggles.
