Exhausted or Fed Up With the News?

Pew research has polled Americans on how they feel about the amount of news they are receiving and have found 70 percent are “fatigued.” While Pew wants to claim that it is the amount of reporting we receive, I didn’t see anything in their survey about how we felt about the “quality” of the news being generated by the major media outlets or the perception that there is a “bias” in the stories and presentation. 1. Between the malicious and agenda driven false reporting and the glacial pace of the Russia/Clinton/Trump/spygate investigations both over saturated exhausation and fed up apply.

Add to that the meteoric pace of underreported successes of the Trump presidency and the house of mirrors we see everyday has no basis in reality.

  2. I wouldn’t say fatigue, more like a slow-mo continuous loop of 9/11 all over again. I reach a saturation point to where I have to look away just to regain sanity.

  3. Not really fatigued. It’s more PO’s at the lies, the incompetence, the foot draggers, the traitors & the corrupt in high places who aren’t in prison & probably never will be (while others who committed fewer counts of the same or similar crimes are in prison or were already severely punished in other ways). In short the lack of justice being done . And just plain old tired of the unending number of America haters we are exposed to daily. Plus disgusted with the constant mischaracterization, fighting against, & disrespect for president Trump, who I believe does deeply love America and Americans and truly does want to MAGA. In so doing they give aid & support to the enemies of America. Trump has accomplished a lot against the odds, but could have already accomplished a lot more without the hindrance of so many domestic enemies who are trying to nullify the last presidential election.

  4. Fed up!

But I do like Brian Williams,he always tells the truth.
I wish they had him on more and he could team up with April Ryan, what a team that would be.
Man the stories they could tell, what a show it would be.

  5. I’m very choosy about “the news”. I watch surprisingly little of it because most of the time I just want to throw something at the tee vee. I’m just as aggravated by “Fox & Friends” and “The Five” as anything on CNN or MSNBC. They’re all ridiculous. And Hannity has turned his show into 40 minutes about himself. I really don’t understand why I love Laura Ingraham’s speeches but can’t stand listening to her on the telly.

  6. People separate the difference between the nightly political campaigns and what real news is. Real news takes a little digging but it’s not hard to stay informed.
Rational people view the trash the news programs spew as a gauge, it helps assess the depth of our situation and a feel for the political atmosphere. Know thy enemy
