Fearless Girl of Wall Street Gets Dry Humped – IOTW Report

Fearless Girl of Wall Street Gets Dry Humped

I hated it the first time I saw it. Out of context, depicting what in reality would be suicidal and just plain stupidly smug, the “Fearless Girl of Wall Street” was installed last week to stare down the famous “Charging Bull” Statue of Manhattan’s financial district.   It attracted a lot of press as the “Day Without Women March” happened the day after Fearless was placed.

The evening after International Women’s day, when the crowds were gone and Fearless had to fend for herself, the poor little darling was subjected to an obscene gesture by none other than a member of the patriarchy.

Here

So now what are they going to do when others come up with even more disgusting and lewd things to do to her when no one is around to stop them?

  1. This is from that article, “Douchebags like this are why we need feminism.”

No, no it is not. What is happening is that modern feminism begets douchebags like this.

  2. I’m not even sure what the intent was in placing this statue in the first place. Is it that brave young girls can face down and stop a thriving wall street? That a functioning, competitive economy is a bad thing and that women are needed to stop it? Maybe they’re trying to say something about evil capitalism and if so, are feminists willing to give up their designer shoes? The guy in the pic in the linked story is a bit of a jackass but I thought the author of the piece was going to have a stroke she was so bitter.

  3. HAHAHA. Someone over there tried to tie it to Trump locker room comment by saying what if hillary was heard to say grab them by the DICK. Surely they heard the rumors, she don’t do DICK.

  4. I have never seen a statue that wasn’t game for inappropriate humor
But this is better than that Giant waste of Sugar on that ‘Art installment’ called Sugar Baby. It was a statue made entirely of sugar, of a giant black woman with an Aunt Jemima bandana, on all fours with her ass in the air, and her lady parts exposed.
This ‘statue’ is apparently representative of the slavery and oppression and rape of black women because of the sugar trade.
At this ‘art installment’ they had to station an attendant at the rear of the statue ‘to deter inappropriate photos and humor’ of the crowd.

  5. The statue was placed as an advertising campaign by State Street Global Advisers.
…… SSGA isn’t the worst company when it comes to female representation at a senior level, but neither is it anywhere close to the best. And we are not the first to point this out….

SSGA released a press release alongside their advertising campaign — and while the statue has received plaudits, it *is* an advertising campaign — organised by McCann of Mad Men fame. In the press release, SSGA offers guidelines to the companies in which it has a stake, encouraging them to improve gender diversity and address the gender bias in hiring and setting goals. If companies fail to live up to these standards, then SSGA stands ready to use its position as a large shareholder to push for policies that promote change.

SSGA will not, however, stop investing in these companies.

  6. I’m sorry the above should have been in quotes. BTW, right before the doofus “assaulted” the statue. Shannon Watts of Moms Demand had put one of her group’s hats on the statue’s head. So so many things wrong in this story.

  7. Reminds me of Rachael Corrie vs John Deere back when she acted as a human shield while Israel was leveling some Palestinian encampments. Little fuzzy on the details at this point. Deere won.

  8. So let me get this right. A bull market, symbolized by this statue, is a market in which stocks are going up. Business is strong, people have confidence, the economy is humming. And we need a strong “fearless girl” to “stare this down?”

The ignorance and delusion of the social justice warriors knows no bounds.

  9. Putrescent puerile symbolism parading as … what?

How bout a statue of Pee Wee Herman in a 10-gal Cowboy hat RIDING the bull and carrying off the “Fearless” girl?

Has the world gone completely fuckin stupid?

    Don’t answer that … don’t …

    izlamo delenda est …

  10. @Corky; thanks for the info. I have to wonder though if SSGA has made a mistake in doing this. If a good company is going public that is perceived by the market as a winner they may not want SSGA purchasing any stake in it at all. Companies that SSGA has a piece of now will be very wary of them going forward and try (somehow, I knot sure how) to ensure that their stake doesn’t get bigger. In addition I wonder whether their principles will come into play if the company they try to pressure is very successful and decides to tell them to go f*ck themselves if SSGA demands a quota on hiring of women instead of hiring the best. I think maybe they’ve tripped on their dicks (or vagina’s, whatever) with this ad campaign and McCann didn’t do them any favours.

  11. It would be more fitting to put her in front of the Bear
    Odin is on to something.
They should ‘vignette’ her in Housewife photos.
    At the stove
    Ironing
    Making Sammiches
    Folding laundry
Anything that raises the blood pressure on the Left
That’s what would make me happy
