News Channel 8 – A tattoo parlor did away with their “No Kids Allowed” policy for one day to put a smile on a Tampa girl’s face.
Trinity, 3, was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a rare type of childhood cancer last year. Little Trinity also has Horner’s syndrome and Harliquine syndrome and has undergone surgery, rounds of Chemotherapy, and a number of biopsies and scans.
“Cancer has taken and continues to take so much from Trinity and our family, so we try to think outside of the box to come up with super fun, once in a lifetime things to do, see, or go to,”
Trinity “loves” her father’s tattoos, so her mother called the folks at Ink Wolves Tattoo in Tampa and made a special request, asking them to give her daughters some tattoos of her own. They would be temporary, of course.
See her joy here.
It’s hard to even open these stories. I know my eyes will be teared up for the next hour if I do.
WHAT!?!?!? NO MOTORHEAD TAT!?!?!
Good luck Trinity, somehow I feel that the world will be a better place with you in it.
Great story. Sometimes we just need to count our blessings.
It may not be what we would want for our little girls, but the point is not what we want. The point is what she wants and who could deny their little princess of whatever she wants for having to go thru the rigors of cancer? Let’s all root for medical technology and the love that it takes to pull her thru!
“C’mon kid, my head is pounding, this is my day off. I’ve been drawing Strawberry Shortcake all fuggin’ day…. one Motorhead tat on Applejacks rump. it can be her cutie mark.”
Thank you for sharing this, Claudia. Trinity has such a tough road to travel but it sounds like she has amazing parents to help her and tattoo artists and a photographer too. God Bless you, Trinity and I will be praying for you.
I don’t like tattoos, especially on ladies, but I’ll make a special exception in this case!
Awww what a cutie! I hope she gets cleared of cancer.
I don’t like tats on ladies.
I don’t like tats but in this case
what ever helps the little girl and
her family CAN’T be bad.Stand by her
Jesus, please.
Radioationman,
AMEN!
“They would be temporary, of course.”
Okay, that makes me feel better. It makes her happy, and it’s no different than allowing your little one to get face painted at fairs or carnivals. The smile on her face was sweet.
And all this gushing is why we’ll never win the culture war.
